Tarry Lifestyle + Home is nestled in the heart of Wimberley, Texas, a town known for its peaceful beauty and tight-knit community. With the town’s motto, “A little bit of heaven,” it’s easy to see why so many, including myself, find a deep sense of belonging here. After raising my three girls in this beautiful town, there truly is no other place I’d rather call home.

In 2018, my husband, Matt and I brought a dream to life by opening Wimberley Gardens, a garden center in town. Matt’s background in nursery work and landscape design made this venture a perfect fit. Little did I know, this would also plant the seed for what would become Tarry. As I began curating the home goods section of the store, I discovered a passion for creating spaces that inspire and delight. Nothing brings me more joy than when someone walks into the store and says, “It feels so good in here!”

For me, it’s always been about the feeling you get from a space. That’s the experience I wanted to create with Tarry – a warm, inviting, and peaceful place where time seems to stand still. I want every customer to feel pampered, inspired, and valued. This is the heart of Tarry, and why we chose the name: to Tarry means to linger, to stay longer than expected, to be present in the moment without an agenda.

After years of dreaming, Tarry Lifestyle + Home will finally open its doors on March 1st. I can’t wait to invite you to come Tarry with us on the square!
